GMT 8:00 - 2 hours no game
We wait and wait and no game (9pm GMT+10).
Is it because there is absolutely NOBODY GvGing?
If so then what a dead game this is. Apparently it's called Guild Wars.

I doubt luck has anything to do with it.
I'm legitimately wanting to know if it's because, at this very moment, there are no guilds entering GvG.

We're GMT-8 and it takes 10+ minutes to find a match between 8-11pm, and after 11, it takes 20+ minutes if we even get a match. This was entering with guilds rank 200-1000.

Its usually fine between 6pm and 1am GMT theres usually a good chance that the opponent will be in champ range, i think with aus/usa times you will suffer due to the smaller player base from those timezones.
There isnt really a way to fix the lack of opponents, you will just have to adjust your times and play when other people play.

It's over three years old. It's part of the highly competitive MMO market. The sequel is already well in development.
Go figure.

Weeknights things are slower, weekend days you can still get a lot of matches fast. I suggest maybe scheduling to play nights where there is more activity so you don't waste so much time waiting for a match - 2 hours seems like a lot of wasted time.

We, Koreans also have such a problem.
So we plays after 10:00 pm (GMT+9).
Maybe it is 11:00 pm in Aus.
I think Koreans, Japanese, Australians should coorperate in doing GvG,
then we could shift 1~2 hours ahead.

How do you expect anyone to know who Jet Li was these days?
(and wasn't it Jet Lee?)

No, but is a nice random comment.
Yes i think it was, when i typed it down i felt as if there was something not correct.
The old matching system was so flawed... hehe...
edit:
I actually tried looking it up now, but it seems Anet deleted it from their website. http://www.guildwars.com/competitive/ladder/historical/ Displays all past ladders except the very first one. I know they had a screenshot of the top100 on their website for a long time, but i guess they removed it.
If i remember correctly, Jet Lee was the EP smurf with a really high amount of wins (i keep thinking the number 112) and zero losses. Pretty impressive.
